Come
and celebrate 50 years of the Dome Creek Community Association and the
unveiling of our Heritage Hall. (At the old community hall)
Fun
starts at 3pm. There will be a concession available where you can purchase a
meal. There will be live music and a dance. (Dance starts at 7pm)
Some
campsites are available.
Join
the fun and dress in a Klondike Costume!
The weekly work bees are back
starting Tuesday July 21, 2009 at 10:00am

Garden Tours 2009
Join the hay wagon as it tours the gardens of Dome Creek
Saturday Aug 8th Tour starts at 11 am
This is the perfect opportunity to see how your fellow gardeners
are doing.
A potluck picnic will be offered on the wagon. The tour will leave
the
Rec Center at 11am
Reserve your hay bale now! You can sign up either by sending an
email to
the website or on the sign up sheet at the old library.

Update….2009 Garden
Tour
We were very pleased at
the success of the Garden Tour. The weather held and made the day most
enjoyable. The tractor left the hall at 11:10 am where everyone met and road on
the wagon. We had planned a potluck picnic to be enjoyed along the way. We
visited many gardens during the morning, then stopped for lunch at 5 sided
Sam’s, while touring their garden. The tour finished up at The Humphreys garden
which we ended the day with cake and ice cream. We’ve had a lot of interest in
hosting a 2010 Garden Tour with reservations already being taken!
